When you give to the United Way of Laredo, your are helping people in need right here in our community.  When times are hard, when tragedy strikes, when the unexpected catastrophe happens, United Way is there through the agencies we support, to led a helping hand.

When you give to United Way less than 2 cents out of every dollar leaves our community to support the United Way of America and the United Way of Texas...our partners in helping those in need.  The monies we raise, through your support, help over 26 agencies in our community provide programs to the youth, elderly and those in need.  Every donation helps!  In 2008, 62% of the United Way donations came from individaul and employee gifts, 18% came from corporations,16% came from special events and 4% comes from other sources.

Your donation to the United Way is needed now more than ever.  With todays suffering economy, local needs are increasing....especially with our steady growth!  Through your donation, you are helping to give hope to someone in unfortunate circumstances.  Their quality of life will be determined by your gift to the United Way.  You can truly help us give hope!
